Foi desta. Aproveitei que o contrato da Vodafone estava a chegar ao fim para voltar a "negociar" e comprei um iPhone 3G de 16GB - era algo que já pretendia fazer e que foi (mais ou menos) uma decisão ponderada.


Até ao momento, o que vos posso dizer é que o mesmo excede as minhas expectativas, salvo um ou outro detalhe que ainda me irritam profundamente, e que não percebo porque raio a Apple não implementou ainda - pois tratam-se meramente de detalhes de software.

Quase todos estes detalhes negativos têm que ver com uma funcionalidade fundamental num telemóvel/smartphone hoje em dia - o SMS. Assim, ficam desde já avisados os potenciais compradores de iPhone, que a Apple implementou a troca de mensagens de SMS como se tratasse de uma conversação no iChat, o que tem vantagens por um lado - como poder seguir facilmente o histórico de SMS enviados e recebidos, mas por outro lado não é possível efectuar duas operações relacionadas com SMS. A saber, estas operações são as seguintes:




  • Enviar um contacto por SMS: quantas vezes já vos aconteceu terem um contacto no vosso telefone e quererem enviar esse mesmo contacto para outra pessoa por SMS. Pois no iPhone, isso não é possível. O software não nos deixa enviar contactos por SMS.


  • Fazer forward de um SMS: ou seja, vocês recebem um SMS de alguém, e querem enviar esse mesmo SMS para outras pessoas - pois não conseguem. É uma funcionalidade que a Apple não implementou.


O meu maior problema é que nem na Apple App store consigo encontrar software que implemente estas funcionalidades.


Existem algumas alternativas (ChinSMS, weSMS), mas ambas requerem que o iPhone esteja desbloqueado.
